Just wondering if it's possible to solo? So is it possible to solo all of Abyssea content or am I screwed? When Charm expires, the former pet will attack you unless you are at least 30' away; mobs that track by scent may track you unless you are under Deodorize effect. See also Beastmaster Charm Guide. Restrictions Charm cannot be used on an enemy that is in Call for Help status.

Charm cannot be used on another Beastmaster 's pet. Charm cannot be used on Beastmen or Arcana. Charm cannot be used on fished-up mobs.

Charm cannot be used on mobs in Abyssea. Beastmaster Support Job When Beastmaster is set as a support job; Charm is affected by the main level of your Beastmaster job. For example, if your Beastmaster job is level 40 and is set as a sub for a level 75 job, a monster that checks as Easy Prey will probably be very difficult to Charm.

However, if your Beastmaster job is level 75, and if you set it as a support job to another level 75 job, an Easy Prey may be Charmed with ease. Level Sync A monster will only uncharm immediately or very fast, if, after level sync it would check as tough or higher to the level that you are syncing down to. After that it's a simple matter to feed it TP, and wait for the TP move.

Watch for the silence to wear off the mob, and recast it as needed. Keeping stun ready to go can help. If you are solo, being charmed is harmless, but may cause the mob to despawn. Providence is not an issue if silence is on the Poroggo. Be ready to use your Echo Drops when Water Bomb is used. Kill and hope to learn! There will be sight aggro on the way to it, so take precautions.

Around the pond to the west you will find eight Poroggo. Using a ranged weapon or spell pull one back to camp. There is sight and sound aggro from other monsters around the lake, so be careful. They have true hearing, but do not link. Once the Poroggo is at camp silencing it, or stunning -ga and AM is key. If a party member gets charmed, sleep them and the Poroggo immediatly, until the charm wears.

Duration is not too long. Beware of Providence, the spells cast fast under it, and Death is a fight ender. At the locations F-4, F, and I-9 there are Toads. They look like normal frogs, and have no hats and staves like Poroggo's.

When the weather is foggy in West Sarutabaruta [S] , which can happen between and game time, Two Poroggo Gents will spawn at each of the camps. No Toads need to be killed to make them pop. They will pop in addition to the Toads that are there as soon as fog happens. The Toads are level , and have no special TP moves. BUT they do attack very fast, and they link from a very large range. So it is very easy to end up with a large number of them on you if you are not careful.

Once you get more then two or three hitting you, interruptions to spells can become a real issue. They can kill even high level players with sheer numbers.
